Signal
The administrators and teachers primarily communicate with parents through the Signal app. Signal is a group messaging app used for school-wide announcements and can also be used to notify administrators and teachers if a student will not be attending that day due to illness or other reasons.
Text messaging is also an acceptable form of communication with the school. The best number to text the school is (435) 274-5426.
Email is not typically used to communicate with parents and should not be relied on for urgent messages or attendance notifications.
Parents are encouraged to check Signal regularly and respond promptly when messages require action.
Conferences
Parents have the right to express concerns freely and openly, without fear of retribution from school personnel. Concerns about the classroom should be brought to the teacher’s attention first and then to the director’s attention next.
Parents will receive notice of their student’s progress through SEP conferences. We ask that parents make an appointment to meet with teachers at the given times.
