Registration

All paperwork and registration fees must be completed before a student can start. Registration forms must be filled out in their entirety, the initial deposit paid, and pre-entrance testing completed. Registration forms can be found here. Please fill out an individual form for each child.

Initial Deposit

The initial deposit of $500 is due by July 15 or at registration, whichever is later. Intake testing cannot be performed until the deposit is paid.

Statement of Faith

An important part of the registration process is the acknowledgement of our Statement of Faith. Our desire is to assist parents as they guide their students in establishing a lifelong relationship with Jesus. It is important that the principles taught in school be in line with the principles being taught in the home. Please be sure to note your agreement to Biblical teaching as you fill out your student(s)’s registration forms.

Preadmission Testing

At New Life Christian Academy, we believe in allowing students to progress at their own pace, while providing the support that they need to stay on track. In order to determine work group levels before the beginning of school, Mrs. Johanna will be conducting preadmission testing for grade school students during the week of July 21 to 25 for the 2025 – 2026 school year.

Junior High and High School Students

Junior High students are those students who are at least 12 years old and entering 7th grade or 8th grade. The Junior High students will be joining our High School students in a one-room school house approach to collaborative learning. Parents with concerns about their student’s maturity level and their readiness for the JH/HS setting should meet with Mrs. Kate and Mr. Charles to discuss these concerns.

Intake Interviews and Testing for Junior High and High School

Junior High and High School students will meet with Mrs. Kate and Mr. Charles for an intake interview and math proficiency testing the week of July 21 to 25 for the 2025 – 2026 school year. Additional proficiency assessments for the Junior High and High School students will be conducted the first few days of school. These tests are simply to establish a baseline for comparing progress as the year goes on and identifying areas for special emphasis.

Student Readiness

Students must be able to care for their own bathroom needs before attending school. If an incident arises where a student needs help in the restroom, 2 staff members will accompany the student and the restroom door will be propped open.  This is for the protection of both staff and students. If a second staff member is unavailable, we will seek help from a sibling of the student.
